Anna joined the Green Projects team in August 2016. Her work focuses primarily on habitat restoration, fluvial geomorphology, dam removal, and long term project monitoring aimed at protecting and improving the Long Island Sound watershed. Anna completed her Bachelor’s degree in 2016 from Connecticut College where her work focused on legacy sediments and the role of colonial mill dams as well as the geomorphic impact of in stream structures.

Anna’s love of water has brought her around the globe, most recently for a conservation fellowship in Cambodia where she worked with communities whose sustainable fisheries and water management practices are threatened by development and a changing climate. Previously, Anna worked on projects related to invasive freshwater milfoil in Maine, saltwater intrusion in Tanzania, and floodplain reconstruction in Pennsylvania. She currently serves on the Society for Ecological Restoration's board of directors as the Connecticut State Director.
