We bring people and nature together to create a cleaner Long Island Sound.
At Save the Sound, we practice what we preach. We collaborate with our community partners throughout Connecticut and eastern New York to complete projects that restore rivers and coastal marshes, make rivers accessible to people and migrating fish, and reduce pollution by helping to create greener, more resilient cities.
We engage our neighbors in our restoration projects. We cultivate environmental stewardship through hands-on workshops and volunteer opportunities. We demonstrate the possibilities to inspire the next generation of environmental leaders.
