Tracy Brown joined Save the Sound in 2014, opening our New York office which focuses on nitrogen and bacterial pollution.  Tracy and her team monitor water quality and put that data to use identifying and eliminating pollution sources. She was an architect of New York State's Sewage Pollution Right to Know law and continues to work for greater transparency on water pollution and wastewater infrastructure issues.

Prior to joining Save the Sound, Tracy worked at Hudson Riverkeeper for seven years where she was instrumental in building their Water Quality Program. She is co-founder of the Peabody Preserve Outdoor Classroom, a nature preserve for hands-on, outdoor education for the students of the Tarrytown Public Schools.
